2024 Player Information

2024 Player Information Welcome to squash 2024.  The season runs from September and finishes with IPT’s in June.  Below are all the details of the upcoming season. Tournaments  JJS will host the following tournaments at a cost of R380 each. To add the tournament to your calendar, click on the link. These tournaments are open to all age groups. This day is aimed at U11 and U13 players but any beginner player is welcome. Joburg Junior Squash AGM and Prizegiving

It is once again time for our annual prize giving and AGM.  AGM PRIZE GIVING The annual prize giving will take place immediately after the meeting.  Certificates will be handed out to all school league winners and runners up as well as all IPT players. Last year was really badly supported and we encourage players to come along this year.  It is open to all players, not only prize winners.

U/19 Boys and Girls bring back medals from the 2023 IPT tournament in Stellenbosch

Well done to the Joburg Boys A Team who brought back the gold and won the A section of the SA Schools IPT 2023 held in Stellenbosch hosted by Boland Squash : The u/19 Boys B section played out of their skin but fell at the last hurdle against Free State. Joburg Junior Squash IPT Teams 2023

Well done to all those who made the teams. Sunday saw the culmination of hard work, lots of sweat, and the odd tear or two – and a few bruises along the way  – with our Provincial Capping Ceremony for our dedicated  Squash players. This Fine Young Bunch will  fly Joburg Junior Squash’s colours high in various age groups across the country at our prestigious SA Schools Inter-provincial Tournaments at the end of the month. 2023 Growthpoint SA Regional Squash Championships

The Growthpoint SA Regional Squash Championships for U15 U17 U19 took place in Johannesburg this last weekend. All winners of this regional event have the opportunity to compete in the SA National event in Cape Town in August. Joburg Junior Squash Top School tournament

Joburg Junior Squash Top School tournament was held this past weekend, hosted by St Stithian’s College. Using 6 glass backed courts with lots of atmosphere from the players, parents and coaches. St Mary’s Waverley were the girls winners, runners up were St Stithian’s Girls.  This fixture was very exciting, many of the encounters going to 5 sets. King Edward VII were runaway winners, with St Stithian’s boys in second position. Other teams entered were Kingsmead, Northcliff, Roedean, Helpmekaar  and St John’s Full Results as below :
